SNZ Endorsed New Zealand Surf Lessons

Learn to surf with Surfing New Zealand Endorsed Coaches. Our instructors are in the water with you at all times to make you feel comfortable and reach that ultimate goal of standing and catching your first wave!

Our surf school is mobile giving you access to the best learning conditions (East or West coast) around the Auckland area. Learn about rips, holes and undertows, how to identify them, escape them and use them to your advantage. You will also learn the difference between offshore and onshore winds, afternoon sea breezes, tides, and surfing rules.

If you are serious about learning to surf and have the time our 5 day surf tour is a must!

Where are the surf lessons held...

Lessons are held on the west or east coast, which ever has the best learning conditions on the day. The main destination is Piha because of the consistency of waves on the west coast.

What to bring...

Towel, swimming togs (bathing suit), suitable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses. Byo lunch or we can make a lunch stop.

All year round with our main surf season running from approximately mid Oct through to May.
