READ THE BOTTOM FIRST

This was a great start to the tour and over the 5 days we went to some amazing beaches, stayed in some wonderful places and enjoyed many a good meal, not to mention beer!

If you know the difference between a barrel and a tube, then you'll love this 5-day tour, surfing at some of the best spots New Zealand has to offer, thanks to the amazingly durable 4WD!

If you've never surfed before but you love going to beaches you usually only see in postcards or brochures, or if you're looking to begin surfing on a more intimate tour but with plenty of time to do your own thing, then definitely go along for the ride!

The accommodation, food, travel and equipment was reassuringly organised, but the rest is relaxing, spur-of-the-moment, freedom that's more indicative of a hobby than a business. I wouldn't imagine you'd find that on many tours.

NZ SURFTOURS FEB 10-14th, 2003

It was with some trepidation that my wife and I awaited to be picked up for your 5-day tour. As not really the sort of people who usually bother with organised tours, we didn't know what to expect - other than some waves...hopefully! And minutes after Judd picked us up, we were heading away from Auckland and the luxury of a harbour-side apartment, into 'the unknown' .

After brief introductions, some good music and a comfortable hour's journey North of Auckland, we were already feeling at ease with 'the unknown' . The first beach we arrived at, had clean white sand, warm blue sea, ideal surf conditions and it was almost empty! Following some great waves and an enjoyable picnic on the beach, we all soon started remembering each other's names, nationalities and tastes in music!

Love the whole scheme of things, met one of your trips up at forestry last tuesday & now I know what they were up to---beach soccer etc.
I have a daughter who has been struggling to stand up on a board & I think your school would be great for her, she is is quite keen on the idea, so maybe one day.---Glyn.
